Stoneware

Alice works with stoneware clay, sculpting, hand-building, and throwing. She enjoys experimenting with surfaces and patterns, and some of her pieces are fired using techniques like raku and salt firing, which gives each object a unique expression. Each piece is unique – a one-off – and will not be reproduced exactly the same again. All functional items are glazed with food-safe glazes and are created to be used and enjoyed in everyday life.
