My journey into ceramics began by chance in 2021. At a gathering, I met someone who told me he had a small pottery workshop in Helsingborg. He said I was welcome to come by and try throwing sometime. The very next day, I was standing outside his workshop door.

After my first evening at the potter's wheel, I went home and ordered my own. The day after, I picked it up and returned to the workshop with a humble question: if I could set up my wheel there and learn ceramics from scratch. Fortunately, the answer was yes.

What started as curiosity quickly became a passion. I became so engrossed in clay that I chose to drop out of my studies at Malmö University to dedicate myself entirely to ceramics.

Since then, I have worked exclusively with porcelain. It's a material that continues to fascinate me – strong and fragile at the same time, technically demanding, and with a natural luster that I want to keep central. I try to work as restrained as possible and let the porcelain speak for itself. Therefore, I leave my vases unglazed and only use a transparent glaze on my utility items. For me, it's about highlighting the material's inherent qualities rather than hiding them behind glaze or decoration.

My work has led to collaborations with several Michelin restaurants in Stockholm, exhibitions at Krapperup Art Gallery and Höganäs Museum, and a collaboration with Ernst Billgren.

I don't see porcelain as a material one ever fully masters. On the contrary, I believe there is always more to discover, and that's precisely what makes working with it so inspiring. The same curiosity that led me to knock on the door of a small pottery workshop in Helsingborg is still what drives me every day. I hope I never feel finished – there is always a new form, a new technique, or a new idea to explore.
